Tim Tebow has been in the spotlight since being drafted into the NFL, and it has become clear that he won’t be the starter for the Denver Broncos this season. Kyle Orton has secured his place as the starter for the Broncos and Brady Quinn is a decent backup.
The latest rumor has Tebow being traded to the Washington Redskins, who have the least amount of talent in the league at quarterback, and the best news is it won’t take much to acquire the young quarterback from Denver.
Tebow has shown that in situations that he can make plays, but the coaching staff for the Broncos aren’t thrilled with his performance in practice, and trading him might be the best move for the organization.
Tebow would definitely challenge for the top spot in Washington and could be used in the same way as Mike Shannahan used John Elway early in his career. Tebow’s mobility is his biggest strength, and he would need it playing for the Redskins. His 11 touchdowns in just nine games is a plus, but his accuracy will need to improve if he wants to become a legitimate starter in the NFL.
