2011 NHL Trade Rumors – LA Kings Moving Johnathan Quick?

The NHL is about to start its training camps and several teams around the league will be looking to make some roster moves in hopes of improving enough that they can become more competitive in the upcoming season.

The LA Kings have been very active this off-season and have upgraded their roster enough that many experts feel they’re the team to beat in the Western Conference. The team does have a dilemma at goalie as the team has two outstanding young players between the pipes.

The latest NHL trade rumor circulating around the internet has the LA Kings making Johnathan Quick available on the trade market. Johnathan Bernier is a 22-year-old up and coming goalie and if he plays to expectations, it could make Quick available to another team in need of a starting goaltender.

Several teams around the league are in need of a goalie, and the Kings could use Quick to add another a defenseman as they attempt to win a Stanley Cup. Look for the team to make a deal if the right trade could be put together and the front office feels it’s in the best interest of the organization.
