2011 NHL Trade Rumors – Zach Parise to LA Kings?

The LA Kings have been very busy over the NHL off-season as the team has acquired several veteran scorers and now might be the best team in the Western Conference.

The latest rumor has the LA Kings making another move and this would secure the team as a legitimate threat for the Stanley Cup this year as the team would acquire Zach Parise from the New Jersey Devils for the team’s top prospects and draft choices.

Parise would give LA two lines that would be a juggernaut in the NHL as the team could become the top offensive team in hockey. New Jersey would get two young players to build around and draft picks that they could use to add some much-needed youth.

New Jersey needs to reinvent itself as a team and this would be a great opportunity to add talent, youth, and energy to a team that has lacked something and plays in the tough Atlantic division. A trade that benefits both teams is rare in sports, but this gives both teams what they’re looking for and would make the NHL on the west coast very exciting again.
