Southern California was hit by a 5.4 earthquake today.
At first, they said it was a 5.8, but it was downgraded to a 5.4.
Although that is not a massive quake, it will still get your attention in a big way.
I'm sure there was some damage, but then, I'm not a quake expert.
I was in L.A. (Los Angeles is my home away from home) when a 4.9 or 5.0 hit, and it shook some things, but nothing fell or broke.
A 5.4 is much worse than a 4.9, but California is built to take a lot more.
If you live there, or on vacation in the area, feel free to comment.
If not, comment anyway.
A 5.4 is something to talk about!
