The 50 Shades of Grey movie has lost another Anastasia Steele frontrunner.

There have been tons of reports about Mila Kunis being in talks to play the student-turned-sex-slave, and it’s not hard to see why Mila makes a believable Ana—she has the eyes that are “too big for face”; beautiful brunette hair; and luscious lips that Christian Grey would love to watch her bite. However, according to Gossip Cop, a source close to Mila has revealed that it’s “not true” that she’s in talks to star in the movie.

50 Shades finally got its screenwriter in Kelly Marcel, who has worked on the dinosaur TV series Terra Nova. However, Kelly hasn’t had time to write the screenplay, so producers aren’t going to approach busy actresses like Mila Kunis and Emma Watson until they have a screenplay to hand to them. Most stars will also want to wait to see who is chosen to direct of the 50 Shades of Grey movie.

There were once rumors about Angelina Jolie directing the movie, and it would definitely be interesting to see her team up with Mila. The two ladies worked together long ago in the movie Gia when Mila played the younger version of Angelina Jolie’s model character.

However, Fifty fans have a few other favorites for the role of Anastasia Steele. Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel is a popular pick, but she and Mila might both be a little too old to play a 21-year-old college student. Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke; Pretty Little Liars cutie Lucy Hale; and White Collar beauty Alexandra Daddario are all fan favorites. Then there’s Emma Watson, who recently said that she has no problem doing nude scenes. Elizabeth Olsen also changed her mind and stated that she might be interested in the movie after previously saying that she doesn’t want anything to do with it.

A while back there was a rumor that author E. L. James wanted The Secret Life of the American Teenager star Shailene Woodley to play Ana. She could have a real shot since her star is on the rise—she got critical acclaim after working alongside George Clooney in The Descendants, and she’s a frontrunner for the role of Mary Jane Watson in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

So would you like to see an older actress like Mila play the role, or do you think that a fresher face like Shailene Woodley would be a better fit?
