A fallen Angel

Live your dreams tomorrow is not promise. Everyone is an angel with a story to tell this story is about a well known angel Farrah Fawcett. We all can learn form her story and will to live.

Fawcett’s record-breaking poster, which sold 12 million copies.


Farrah Fawcett was born on feburary 2, 1947. At the height of her fame she was an iconic sex symbol. It’s hard to believe she is gone. On june 25, 2012 it will be three years since her death. Her most memorable moment was as Jill Monroe on Charlie Angels. That hair that smile she was beautiful. A well sort after women by many men. Remember that poster Farrah was wearing a red bathing suit and a big smile no wonder it broke records selling 12 million copies.

Before the fame she was simply a country girl from Corpus Christy Texas. Farrah Fawcett was the daughter of Pauline Alice a homemaker and James William Fawcett an oil field contractor. She had one sister a graphic artist her name was Diane Fawcett Walls. Farrah Fawcett went to the University of Texas at Austin. There she was voted as “ten most beautiful coeds” “from the University which ran in cashbox magazine.” A Hollywood publicist saw Farrah Fawcett picture from the cashbox magazine and gave her a call and encourage her to move to Los Angeles California. “which she did the summer following her junior year with her parents permission to “try her luck ” in Hollywood.” She never regretted her decission to move to Los Angeles.

From the late 1960’s and early 1970’s she did numerous commercials. On march 21 1976 Farrah Fawcett begin her career as Jill Monroe on the hit show Charlie Angels. Sadly her run on the show was shortly lived Farrah Fawcett only stay for one season. The angel wings broke when on 2006 she was diagnose with Cancer. Farrah Fawcett was determine fom the begining to fight this demon (Cancer) she did chemotherapy and numerous of other treatments. Farrah Fawcett even went to Germany to try alternative treatments but sadly on June 25, 2009 she lost her battle with the demon. Farrah Fawcett will allways be remmembered not only for her beauty but for her resilience and will to live no matter what.
