A Plumm Summer

Family films always seem to be hit and miss with my bunch and we often wind up in separate theatres or separate rooms when it’s movie viewing time.

A PLUMM SUMMER (William Baldwin, Henry Winkler, Jeff Daniels, Ben Trotter) changed that dynamic instantly.  Granted, I had to twist an arm or two (in particularly, my hubby’s…) to get everyone to agree to see it, but ten minutes into the film, I knew it was a hit with everyone.

Set in 1968, A PLUMM SUMMER captures spirit of rural America, drawing the audience in to the lives of two boys (one pre-K, the other a teen) who are stuck in the middle of family crisis and the solving of a local mystery.

Sounds simple, right?  It’s not.  The depth of character development and plot is impressive and the acting superb, making this a must-see movie.  It’s thought provoking, uplifting, and will bring a smile to all hearts, young and old.

A highly recommended, enjoyable experience!
