A Thank You And A Welcome – Wednesday Gather Writing Essential (WE)

Filed in Gather Writing Essential by on February 20, 2012 0 Comments

The great thing about the Gather Writing Essential (WE) group is that it is always changing. It gives the members an opportunity to be an editor and use their talents to spark interest and encourage new writing skills. Each member editor brings a new element and style to the already amazing WE group.

Please join me in giving a “Thank You” and a “Welcome” to two wonderful writers.

Please join me in thanking Kimberly  for giving of herself so freely and encouraging a new level of writing as she served as Wednesday WE member editor.

Kimberly is an author of YA fiction.  I have read one of her books and I highly recommend it .  She is just about ready to publish her next book so keep your eyes open for it.

Kimberly needs to have some down time to work on her writing.

Please join me in welcoming the new Wednesday WE editor  Pam Brittain.  Pam is a talented writer and will surely keep you in challenging prompts as she uses her creativity as your inspiration.

Pam’s  professional background is in the real estate foreclosure industry. She helped form the industry’s association, was a lobbyist, acted as an expert witness in a large lawsuit and really dislikes politics. She is the major stockholder and operator of her company which was formed in 1997.
She is a new writer with her personal life as her teacher. Writing has become her passion and she looks forward to learning more and improving her work through Gather.

You did an amazing job and it is much appreciated. I wish you much success in your life ahead. You are always in my thoughts. I am anxious to read your newest book as soon as it is released.

Kimberly’s book “Nothing But Trouble After Midnight” can be purchased at Barnes & Noble.

Welcome to your new position as Wednesday Writing Essential member editor. I am anxiously awaiting your first prompt.

Kimberly will be offering her last prompt on Wednesday February 22nd.  Make sure to check it out.  Pam will be closing out the day and starting her prompts on Wednesday 29th.  So as you can see, the Gather WE group is in for a treat as they finish up the month of February.  You will get the best of both writers.

I also wanted to draw your attention to a post titled A Short History of the Writing Essentials Editors  by Kathryn Esplin.  She has done a wonderful job keeping up with all the new editors as they are added.
