Queen has just announced that the band, along with lead singer Adam Lambert, have added a third and final concert at Hammersmith Apollo in London for Saturday, July 14. The official announcement was made via the Queen website and their Facebook page. Two performances were already scheduled for July 11 and 12 at the same venue and the added date is a result of the “instant” sell-out of the first two shows. Last month Brian May hinted about the possibility of adding another show as a result of brokers snapping up tickets quickly. Fortunately for those fans that were unable to acquire tickets, Queen was able to arrange for this extra show.
According to the announcement, “the added London date will be the final show that Queen and Adam Lambert will play together this summer.” In addition to the London shows, they will also perform concerts in Moscow and Poland.
Not only European, but also American fans of Adam Lambert will have the opportunity to see him sing live soon. In addition to performing with Queen for these five shows abroad, Adam also has some concerts of his own coming up in the US. This month Adam is part of the line-up at many radio shows along the East Coast, and is headlining concerts in Wilkes-Barre, PA and Washington DC.
