Adam Lambert traveled to South Africa this week to perform in Cape Town and Johannesburg, and yesterday he took some time to explore the area. Between concerts he had an opportunity to have some fun, and both he and his band shared photos from their free time. Yesterday, Adam and his friends enjoyed Cape Town by going on a bike ride. Musical Director Brian London tweeted a photo, saying, “Cape Town bike ride. So much fun!! @whoisjohnnyrice@TommyJoeRatliff @ashleydzerigian @adamlambert @LoveMrSpencer pic.twitter.com/N4ujblXD” Later, Adam’s dancer Terrance Spencer also posted a photo of the group on their bikes.
After having fun in the sun, last night the group visited Cape Town’s Gay Village, where they ate at Beefcakes and later partied at Crew Bar. The owner of the bar, Ian McMahon, posted a photo with Adam on Facebook and also posted on his wall, “Adam Lambert is loving crew!”
Adam is now in the Johannesburg, having been spotted at the airport by fans. Next up is a concert at the Coca Cola Dome tomorrow. With rehearsals, interviews, and adjusting to jet lag, it is not often that artists have an opportunity to just chill out in a new town. It’s good to see that Adam has had some free time to check out South Africa, as he has said that this is his first time there. Fans are looking forward to the Johannesburg show, as the concert in Cape Town was a huge hit!
