Adam Lambert is in Johannesburg, South Africa to perform a concert tonight, and during a press conference stopped to chat with 94.7 Highveld Stereo radio station. While there, he was honored with a plaque to commemorate an excess of 50,000 units sold in South Africa. They told him that his debut album For Your Entertainment has gone gold and is heading towards platinum. In addition, his latest album, Trespassing, is on track to go gold as well.

While chatting with 94.7 Highveld Stereo, Adam also talked about his rituals before going on stage, and the strangest thing that has ever happened to him on tour. Check out the video of Adam’s interview, as well as watch him receive the plaque in the video below.

Adam promised “one hell of a show” in Johannesburg. If his Cape Town concert is any indication, fans are in for a huge treat! For the South African concerts Adam has added dancers, new costumes, and new songs.
