Adam Lambert joined Emeli Sande last night to present the Artist to Watch award at MTV’s Video Music Awards. They announced newbie Austin Mahone as the winner, who got a hug from both upon accepting the award. Watch the presentation below:
That Adam was not only attending, but also presenting an award was a surprise for his fans, who found out Saturday when a photo was tweeted of his seat assignment. However, it makes sense that he would be there to support gal pal Katy Perry’s debut performance of Roar, who he met up with at the after party. He has been busy in New York lately, performing at Nile Rodger’s AFTEE Dance Party and recording new music with Nile and Avicii. It is likely that he will be staying there to film Glee with the New York cast before returning home to LA.
Adam arrived at the VMA’s looking sharp in his Lanvin suit and perfectly coifed hair. He preempted the expected “who are you wearing” question when he tweeted yesterday morning what designer he would be wearing.
What do you think of his VMA look?
