Adam Lambert performed a tribute to Donna Summer on Sunday when he sang “Hot Stuff” as part of his set in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Adam was the headline act for Alice Radio’s Summerthing event and performed 11 songs for a 60-minute set. Other songs were mostly from his new album, including the latest single, Never close Our Eyes.

After singing Never Close Our Eyes, Adam declared, “I love Donna Summer so much!” He then introduced the next song and said he was singing it “in memory of Donna.” Watch Adam sing Hot Stuff below:

Adam flew in from London on Saturday night for the event and is flying back immediately after Summerthing to continue rehearsing with Queen. Despite that he must have been exhausted from the quick travel and jet lag, you wouldn’t know it by the performance. As energetic as always, Adam provided a great show for the thousands in attendance. He seemed to enjoy himself as much as the fans and even tweeted after the show, “Thank you San Francisco! I had fun!!!
