Adam Lambert has just announced his “Trespassing” and new single release dates and they have apparently been pushed back from originally scheduled. Adam’s UK publicist tweeted today, “Adam Lambert releases new single Never Close Our Eyes on July 8th in the UK. The US number one album Trespassing follows on July 9th.” According to earlier press releases, the single was originally slated for a release on June 24 and the album on July 2. No reason has been given for the delay.

However, although fans will have to wait an extra week for the album, there is good news in that the date for Adam’s appearance on The Graham Norton Show has now been confirmed for June 22. This should build a lot of excitement for those that are not already familiar with Trespassing, hopefully prompting new fan converts to buy the album when it comes out.

Adam is the executive producer of Trespassing and Share photos on twitter with Twitpicco-wrote many of the tracks. He collaborated with an all-star list of award-winning artists, producers and songwriters including Pharrell Williams, Claude Kelly, Benny Blanco, Bonnie McKee, Nile Rodgers and Sam Sparro. In the US, the album has received highly positive reviews, such as from Rolling Stone, who said it is “the great pop album everybody was hoping Adam Lambert would make.” The album went straight to the top of the US Billboard album chart, making Adam the first openly gay male to début at no. 1.

Although most US fans already have Trespassing, there is a special bonus track on the UK version called “Map.” Therefore, even US fans are eagerly awaiting the UK release, since many have pre-ordered the album for this bonus track. Will you be purchasing the UK version of Trespassing?
