Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine, opens up during an interview about his feelings on relationships and marriage, and how those two things may not be for everybody. And for Adam, this interview topic most definitely struck a chord as he recently (and publicly) split from Victoria’s Secret model, Anne Vyalitsyna, after two years together. And while the couple seemed happy, sources close to Anne revealed that she was eventually wanting marriage, and Adam made it clear that he was not willing to go to that next step. So she left.
Well, in a new interview, clearly directed towards Anne, Adam Levine opens up as to why he does not think he is very interested in marriage. And he makes a pretty good case. Adam explains that marriage is foreign to him and he would want the opportunity to study each aspect of it before he got himself into it. Smart for anyone wishing to protect the sanctity of marriage. And Mr. Levine is correct, jumping into marriage isn’t good for anyone. And with divorce rates on the rise, any thoughtful person would be wary of marriage. It is not something you do for fun or because you feel like it should be the next step in a relationship. It is something you do when you are prepared to spend the rest of your life with one person. And that isn’t for everyone. And rather than ridiculing these people, we should praise them because at least they aren’t spending $10 million on a wedding for a marriage that only lasts 72 days.
