Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have been dying to work together forever, and the Boston duo might just make their wishes come true.

Ben Affleck and his little brother Casey are going to remake the movie The Trade. The film is about two Yankees pitchers who trade wives. The job will be interesting as the Afflecks are die hard Red Sox fans! Affleck told MTV, “My brother and I, it looks like, are going to do the next draft of ‘The Trade,’ so I’m really excited. I’m going to write it with Casey.”Mar. 27, 2010 - Hollywood, California, United States - Ben Affleck and Matt Damon during the American Cinematheque's 2010 Award honoring Matt Damon, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, on March 27, 2010, in Beverly Hills, California.. 2010.K4534MGE. © Red Carpet Pictures

Rumors have been flying around that Matt Damon will join old friend Ben Affleck in this baseball venture… and it’s not out of the question. Ideally, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon would play the pitchers, Peterson and Kekich, who swapped wives.

When Damon was asked about the film back in March, he told MTV, “I know Ben’s interested in it and I’m dying to work with Ben again. He’s a great director and obviously you know what I think of him as a writer.”

It would be great to see these two work together again – and greater to see them in Yankees’ hats!
