Aishwarya Rai’s Post-Baby Body Criticized, Compared to Beyonce’s

Some people have a lot of nerve. That’s the best that can be said about those who are criticizing Aishwarya Rai this week for not looking “hot enough” right after having had a child.

Aishwarya gave birth to Beti B less than three months ago; and like most normal women, she has yet to lose all of her baby weight. There’s nothing whatsoever wrong with that. She’s decided to take the year off and has no work obligations that require her to be svelte and sexy. Right now she’s just a normal mom staying home to take care of her child. fact has clearly escaped the gossip press, who are chiding her for not looking as good as Beyonce does after having given birth. They’re particularly criticizing photos of Aishwarya from Genelia d’Souza and Ritesh Deshmukh’s wedding reception, in which she posed with Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan in a lovely anarkali suit.

Leave aside the fact that there are persistent rumors that Beyonce was never pregnant to begin with (and so doesn’t have any baby weight to lose), Aishwarya isn’t exactly as press-hungry as Bey is. The Single Ladies diva’s all about glamming up and preening for the cameras, and it’s understandable that she wants to look her best while doing so. Aishwarya Rai, on the other hand, probably doesn’t care one bit about any of that. She’s the least likely celeb on the planet right now to want to put on some stilettos and a bandage dress and show off for the media.

That hasn’t stopped sites like Bollywood Life from running frankly obnoxious stories asking “Who’s Hotter, Beyonce or Aishwarya?” and suggesting that Aish should hit the gym. Perhaps instead of picking on Aishwarya, these sites could instead turn it around and ask why Beyonce prefers spending more time in front of cameras than with her own child? up to date with the latest, breaking news about Aishwarya: subscribe to Aishwarya Rai News on Facebook today!
