Alison Sweeney, host of The Biggest Loser and Sami Brady on the daytime drama Days of Our Lives, is covering the May issue of Redbook. Inside its pages, she dishes about working out regularly and how she lives a normal life with her family.
According to a report from People.com, Sweeney explains that working out isn’t an option for her any more. Since signing on with The Biggest Loser, it’s part of her job.
“If I didn’t bring my duffel bag with me, I wouldn’t work out,” the fit and trim Days of Our Lives actress says. “If I go home, I know I’ll get distracted.”
Sweeney admits, however, that while she makes sure she works out, she doesn’t always make sure she gets enough sleep.
“If I get six hours of sleep, that’s a good night,” she says. “You’ve got to go while the getting’s good, which it is right now. Maybe in 10 years, I’ll be a stay-at-home mom.”
Alison Sweeney insists that even though she’s on two popular TV shows, she still manages to live a pretty normal life. She has long been noted for being a hands-on mom and an all around family centered woman.
“Thank God my life is normal. I work hard to make it normal,” she says. “I go to the market and do the dishes. I’m not treated differently because I work on TV,” Alison says.
