Absolutely satisfying and soothing.Â This bread is based on an Orange Bubble Bread recipe by Frugal Antics of a Harried Housewife.Â Her bread looked so inviting I had to try my own version in dedication to a dear blogger friend who is wrestling with some of life’s cruelest challenges, the loss of loved ones.Â Please send your blessings to Monet of Anecdotes and Apples.Â
- 10 pack Texas Style butter biscuits â€“ refrigerated tube dough.
- 1 3/4 cups Welch’s Orange, Pineapple, Apple juice
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 15 oz can sliced peaches, drained
- 1 overripe banana
in a saucepan bring the juice, sugar and peaches to a boil.Â
Continue boiling over medium heat for 30 minutes.Â Add the banana and puree the mixture. Be careful not to spatter â€“ it’s HOT!
Preheat oven to 375 F.
In the meantime, pull apart and cut into quarters the Texas biscuits.Â Put into a large bowl.Â After pureeing the mixture of fruit, pour over the biscuits and mix gently to coat.Â Pour everything into a well greased 9″ round cake pan.Â Bake for 25-30 minutes or until browned on top.Â
Turn onto a plate and allow everyone to pull apart as desired.
