Amazon Kindle Fire HD on Sale for Best Buy Black Friday 2013 Deals

The Amazon Kindle Fire HD goes on sale as part of the Best Buy Black Friday 2013 doorbuster deals this coming holiday season, according to recent news programs. The retailer recently had a representative appear on several network affiliate television stations to preview the doorbusters that the electronics store will offer customers on either Thanksgiving or Black Friday. The “blue shirt” employee most recently appeared on KARK 4 NBC and a FOX station to reveal several other deals as well.

Product DetailsThe Best Buy Black Friday doorbusters will include the previous generation model of the Kindle Fire HD 7-inch tablet (pictured). The representative noted that it was regularly $199 but will be a special early bird doorbuster for just $99, making for a savings of about 50% on the popular tablet. The current version of the Kindle Fire is the HDX, which sells for over $200 on Amazon’s website.  However, it appears the version that Best Buy is promoting as a deal sells for $143 or so on the Amazon site, rather than $199.  There was a Kindle Fire HD deal announced in the recently-leaked RadioShack ad as well.

That won’t be the only deal offered at Best Buy for the holiday shopping season. Additional items teased included a Jawbone Jambox bluetooth speaker for $99 (regularly at $149) and 25% off Dyson Vacuum cleaners. On the FOX news program, the employee also mentioned a 39-inch Insignia HDTV which will be $169 (regularly $249) and a LG 55″ 1080p HDTV for $499, regularly over $1,000. There will also be a 15-inch ASUS laptop, which the employee said has never been offered for less than $300, but will be a special deal at just $249 for Black Friday.

Best Buy’s official ad hasn’t leaked quite yet, but many online shoppers are expecting that in the next few weeks, along with sales scans from Walmart, Target and online deals revealed by Amazon’s website. So far, it seems like the Kindle Fire HD is among the items that many retail stores are looking to offer as one of their big deals, most likely to try to compete with the higher price of items like the new iPads that are available for $300 or more.  Best Buy and RadioShack are just two retailers that appear to have the item ready to lure in customers, so will Amazon respond with some deals of their own?

Will you be buying a new tablet or an HDTV with all the deals that are being announced, or waiting for better prices?
