AMC Will Offer ‘Breaking Bad’ Season 5, Episode 1 Live Stream For DISH Customers

AMC has announced that it will provide a special live stream for Breaking Bad season 5, episode 1, “Live Free or Die” for DISH customers. The ugly battle between AMC and DISH Network still hasn’t been resolved, but now AMC has a temporary solution for its dedicated viewers.

AMC has already launched a special website for the stream here. DISH customers can register for the live stream beginning Friday, July 13 at 3 p.m. EST. AMC will stream the episode at the regularly scheduled viewing time of Sunday, July 15 at 10 p.m. EST.

AMC claims that DISH dropped their channel to “gain leverage in an unrelated lawsuit.” According to TVLine.com, Dish claims that they dropped the channel “as part of a contract dispute that cited the rising cost of carrying the cable channel and other concerns.”

Whatever the reason for the dispute may be, customers will undoubtedly appreciate this extra effort made by AMC. Fans have been waiting a long time for the show to return, how disappointing for DISH customers to have to miss it!
