It has been three years since Adam Lambert and Kris Allen competed on American Idol together, but they have remained friends and are still supporting each other’s musical endeavors. Today Kris Allen released his album, Thank You Camellia, and Adam was one fan to buy it. Adam tweeted, “Just purchased three albums: @KrisAllen @HaleyReinhart & Gossip’s A Joyful Noise.” Likewise, when Adam’s album Trespassing dropped last week, Kris tweeted: My friend @adamlambert came out with his new album today! #Trespassing Got to listen to it yesterday and you wont be disappointed. GO get it!”

Adam also supported Kris’ new single recently when Kris performed it on American Idol last month. Adam tweeted the night before, “@KrisAllen: Excited to hear you sing Vision of Love tomorrow night!” Kris re-tweeted it, adding, “Thanks man! Its gonna be fun” After the performance Adam tweeted to Kris again: “Just caught up on idol from the other night. @KrisAllen you sounded flawless!! Great performance man!”

For American Idol fans, especially from season eight, this is an exciting month, with the top two finalists releasing excellent sophomore albums. So far, reviews for both albums have been very good. Adam is even predicted to début at #1 on the Billboard album chart. However, that won’t be confirmed until the official numbers are released tomorrow.

Have you purchased Adam Lambert’s “Trespassing” and Kris Allen’s “Thank You Camellia” yet?
