American Idol season 8 finalists Adam Lambert and Kris Allen took to Twitter on Wednesday night to comment on the latest group of contestants. Kris was in the audience for the show, while Adam viewed it on TV. Both had positive feedback about the performances. Adam tweeted first about Jessica Sanchez, saying, Jessica Sanchez better sing. Jeeeeeez. That first run was nuts. #futurepopmegastar. He then followed with props for everyone, tweeting, “Gotta say, ALL these kids are dope this year. Love all the young musicians onstage too. Great energy.” Kris tweeted about returning to Idol, saying “Always nice to go back to @AmericanIdol. Can’t wait for tomorrow.” Then, like Adam, he praised the performances, with, “All the contestants killed it tonight too!”

Season 8 winner Kris Allen will be singing his new single “The Vision of Love” on the results show tonight and Adam is clearly looking forward to the performance. This was seen when Adam and Kris shared what fans commonly refer to as a “Kradam” moment with Adam tweeting to Kris, “Excited to hear you sing Vision of Love tomorrow night!” Kris responded, “Thanks man! Its gonna be fun!”

Adam Lambert and Kris Allen shared the Idol stage years ago and have obviously remained friends even though they are now busy with their solo careers. For those who are fans of both artists, it’s great to see Adam show support for Kris. Adam will also be performing on American Idol this season, however, the date has not yet been revealed.

Do you agree with Adam and Kris about the contestants this season?
