American Renaissance Denies Association With Arizona Shooting Suspect

The American Renaissance has denied that it is associated with the Arizona shooting suspect Jared Loughner. A law enforcement memo based on DHS information said that authorities believe strongly that the charged shooter was linked to the anti-ZOG (Zionist Occupational Government).

The head of the American Renaissance denied that association. Jared Taylor said that the DHS information was wrong. He said, “That is complete nonsense. I have absolutely no idea what DHS is talking about. We have never used the term ‘ZOG.’ We have never thought in those terms. If this is the level of research we are getting from DHS, then Heaven help us.”

According to the group, in the past 20 years Loughner has never subscribed to their publications. Also, he could not find anything that showed that the alleged shooter had ever attended any of their events, which have all been held on the East Coast.

Where did the DHS get its information about the link between Jared Loughner and the American Renaissance? Was it just a hunch or did they have something more concrete? At least publically, the supposedly anti-semantic group has flatly denied any association with the man who stands accused in the Arizona shooting that killed 6 people and left Representative Gabrielle Giffords in critical condition.
