An Acrostic Valentine

I decided to write a poem.  Shall I compare thee to a sonnet – the changing Valentine.  The quotations are from Shakespeare’s sonnet 18.

Verse proclaims
An abundance of
Love as Shakespeare’s
Every fair from fair sometime declines
Now budding romantics
Text emoticons without
Iambic Pentameter
No more, But thy
Eternal summer shall not fade

I hope everyone has a Happy Valentine’s Day.  Turn off your cell phones and computers for a little while and share a poem or two with your special loved one.
