Though Angelina Jolie may be a huge international superstar, she doesn’t necessarily party like one! The actress, humanitarian and director celebrated the release of her new film, In the Land of Blood and Honey, with friends and White House staff.
Rather than throwing a million dollar fete or spending wild nights out drinking, Jolie celebrated in low-key style, choosing instead to attend a celebratory dinner with Brad Pitt and twelve others, including White House staff member Valerie Jarrett, who serves as Senior Advisor to President Obama.
According to a fellow diner at the Charlie Palmer Steakhouse in Washington, D.C., Angelina Jolie and company were all “extremely pleasant and gracious to both fans and the staff.”
So what does a major movie star-turned-director eat on a night out on the town? Choosing from the restaurant’s prix fixe menu, Jolie enjoyed an endive and romaine salad to start the meal off, followed by roasted chicken breast with buttered new potatoes and marjoram jus. Though she was celebrating a huge accomplishment, Angelina Jolie still managed to keep her sweet tooth in check, passing on dessert (no wonder she’s so stick thin!).
