Apple has decided that everyone should take Siri everywhere. From the iPhone to now vehicles, the company has partnered with several carmakers to integrate the program into their cars.

According to CBS News, Apple shared the details of its new innovative idea at the Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday. The new “Eye Free” feature that the program will offer will allow drivers to use it hands and sight free in their cars. Drivers will be able to send text messages, change a radio station, get directions, get weather information, and much more. All of the features that will come with Siri will be accessible through voice command after a touch of a button.

While Apple has had great ideas in this now technologically dependant world, this one may be a bit much. Is having the access to update Facebook and Twitter statuses really that important to have in a car? How about a young driver with the ability to do so? With all the roundtable discussions that has gone on by lawmakers about banning cell phones while driving, it’ll be interesting to see what happens when issues start to rise from this.

Those automakers that will offer the feature include BMW, General Motors, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, and Audi.
