Are Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Morphing into Chris Brown and Rihanna?

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are becoming the new Chris Brown and Rihanna. Before Jelena fans jump to the wrong conclusions, they’re not involved in a triangular relationship nor is JB beating on her. They have, however, taken to posting odd, sometimes cryptic messages on Twitter. Experts say they’re trying to make each other jealous, and that their behavior is very unhealthy and counter productive. Yikes, Selena and the Biebs torturing each other on Twitter? Surely, the Apocalypse must be at hand.

According to Hollywood Life, JB and his lady-love are using Twitter to tease and taunt each other, just like CB and RihRih used to do. If it’s true that Jelena’s relationship has hit a “rough patch,” their Twitter shenanigans aren’t likely to help. Cases in point include Selena’s pics of herself “cuddled up with Jake T. Austin…in late October,” and hanging out with Gregg Sulkin at 2:00 A.M. She also posted a pic of her “perfect Halloween” spent with friends without ever once mentioning Justin.

And speaking of JB, what was the deal with that dark, depressing photo of himself captioned “*Lingse*,” which is an anagram for single. Many people have interpreted “lingse” as an anagram for “single”! Even though Justin deleted the weird Tweet almost immediately, it fed the breakup rumors. Then there are all those “kissy face” photos with pretty girl fans, and a sudden slew of photos of the shirtless “Boyfriend” singer flexing his biceps and showing his abs above his exposed underwear. Such tweets only exacerbate the stress already placed on Jelena’s relationship by by their busy work schedules.

Hollywood Life believes Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez should stop torturing each other with puerile Twitter games and make an effort to communicate.

What do you think?
