According to the latest celeb reports, it appears celebrity couple Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas feel bad for singer/actress Demi Lovato, who checked into rehab not long ago.  Apparently Jonas and Greene have made attempts to show their support for their fellow entertainer too.

According to a report from ZackTaylor.ca, the Jonas Brother singer and Twilight actress have reached out to both Demi Lovato and her family.  Lovato decided to remove herself from the tour she was on weeks ago, and checked into rehab.  A source close to Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas said of the couple’s feelings about the whole Demi situation:

“They feel bad. Nobody at that age should be put through this. They know that Demi has been secluded from the media, but understand that once she gets out [of rehab] all these rumours and reports will take a toll on her. They understand that [their relationship] might have been the cause of some of her issues, but want her to know they wish her well and hope they can all be friends afterwards.”

Unlike Twilight’s Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, there’s no need for further evidence of a Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas relationship.  The two (pictured) were out for a date at Katsuya restaurant in Hollywood back in mid-October.  Both are quite busy with their career work now though, so don’t expect to see too many new pics.  Ashley Greene should be filming her parts as Alice Cullen for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” soon if she’s not already doing so.  Meanwhile, Joe Jonas is on a South American tour along with his fellow JoBros.  A report has noted that Lovato was replaced on the tour for remaining show dates by Brazilian singer, Juliana Vasconcelos Póvoas.

So can Demi Lovato blame her former flame’s relationship for her current issues which may or may not include drugs or alcohol?  Maybe.  Singer Taylor Swift deals with her breakups, makeups and heartache by writing songs about it.  Lovato may be able to channel her emotions that way.  Breakups are tough for almsot everyone to deal with, but imagine if your breakup was publicized and eventually drove you to check into rehab.  At least Demi Lovato made the right decision early before her career spawned any Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan type behavior.  Now if Demi would just convince her fellow Disney star, Miley Cyrus, to enter rehab early, she might stay out of trouble too.
