Ashton Kutcher has finally responded to the cheating scandal that people have been hearing about and his reaction is fairly simple. The Two and a Half Men actor posted a link to Spotify on his Twitter page, and if you click it, it opens the song Don’t Believe the Hype by Public Enemy.
Obviously this isn’t a flat-out denial, but it certainly was Ashton’s way of saying “don’t believe everything you read!” The actor has handled these cheating allegations fairly well in the past, and normally things get swept under the rug once the media calms down. However, this time seems a little different.
Sara Leal, the woman who allegedly had sex with Kutcher, has already gotten a lawyer, and things seem like they could escalate. A lot of times, celebrities file lawsuits against people who “make up” stories, and it’s clear that Leal is prepared for that. No one knows how far this will go—and if this will end Kutcher’s marriage to Demi Moore, but judging by Ashton’s tweet, it doesn’t seem like he’s too worried.
It’s clear that he feels confident about his side of the story… and his simple tweet with a link to a song was enough to clear his name in his eyes.
But are you buying it?
