Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette 2010 wasn’t just about Ali Fedotowsky and contemplating her potential choices for a lover. The latest show also featured a highly-anticipated interview bit involving The Bachelor Jake Pavelka and his former flame, Vienna Girardi. Clips and spoilers about the interview for ABC’s show had been surfacing online for weeks and finally the complete interviewed is available on YouTube video.
The former lovers spill all the “details” of why their relationship took a turn for the worse. We’ve heard the rumors for weeks that Vienna said Jake was not affectionate and didn’t want to have sex, making her believe he might be gay. Jake was interviewed solo first, saying he was blindsided by this whole thing. He said he returned from a trip to see he and Vienna plastered on magazines. He said before he left their romance was going downhill but he wasn’t quitting. He said he can’t fathom her doing this to him. Jake said he’s not scared to hear what Vienna has to say because he did nothing wrong. Vienna and Jake didn’t hug or exchange any greeting. The host noted just weeks ago he had dinner with the couple and it seemed everything was going fine.
Vienna noted the first month they were together was great and from there things just went downhill. She said “it felt like a relationship when cameras were rolling, but not at home”. Vienna said she just wanted Jake around to talk to and kiss like a normal relationship. Vienna said Jake’s got a bit of a temper and caused emotional issues, because “there was like nothing there emotionally or physically.” Vienna said she had to literally ask to get a kiss and it wasn’t much of one when she got it.
Jake said he was furious over what Vienna did to him and accused her of selling him out. Jake also said Vienna has lying issues. Vienna calls Jake a “fame wh–e” and brings up how Jake was heartless about her dog having to be in the hospital. And things go from there! It’s hard to tell who is telling the truth because both of them are reality TV characters. That’s the unfortunate part of these new style TV shows, and I’m not sure if this dirty laundry needs to keep getting aired out on TV and in magazines for weeks to come.
Below you can check out part 1 of the Jake and Vienna interview from ABC’s “The Bachelorette” on Monday July 5th, 2010. Who do you think is being more honest in this whole thing? Is it Jake’s story or Vienna’s story?
