Divorce papers have once again been filed in Oregon for actor Daniel Baldwin and his wife Joanne. This time it was Joanne who filed, citing irreconcilable differences. Daniel, known for his role in Mulholland Falls, had filed a petition for divorce during the summer after an alleged violent domestic dispute. Later, the couple decided to try to stay together and the petition was dismissed.
According to reports on KOIN, Joanne is demanding half of all of her husband’s earnings, including a $100,000 payday the actor is allegedly set to make in Australia along with $4000 a month in child support for the couple’s two children. After she was accused of having a problem with alcohol, and threatening her husband in front of their kids, she is expecting to get half of his income? No way!
Other demands include sole custody of the couple’s children and that Daniel Baldwin obtain a $1 million life insurance policy for the benefit of the kids. While the life insurance policy is a sound request and a good idea, Joanne Baldwin doesn’t appear to be stable enough to have sole custody of the children. She should not only have to share custody, but should also undergo some counseling and possibly rehab to clear up any alcoholism. Kids need stable, sober parents. Hopefully these kids will have at least one parent to be a positive role model.
