Barack Obama slammed by Rosie O’Donnell- criticism from her of his episode on The View

Rosie O’Donnell slams Barack Obama with negative criticism for him appearing on this weeks episode of “The View.”  Is this opinion biased?  Rosie O’Donnell used to be a co-host on “The View,” so is her criticism directed at Obama or just a passive-aggressive way to attack “The View”?
According to O’Donnell, Obama didn’t use his time in a valuable way.  Prior to the airing O’Donnell said in an XM radio show, “I don’t really think sitting presidents should do fluffy daytime TV shows.”  Would this apply if he was ever on the “Rosie O’Donnell Show”?  Is that show not the same type of ‘daytime fluff’ as “The View” is?

Sections of Obama’s interview on “The View” are available for viewing on YouTube and other news websites.  The attention this interview is getting from O’Donnell might make more people watch it.  This appearance by Obama is the first time a current US President has ever been on a daytime tv show.

Maybe it is a sign of the times or Obama is just a little more hip then past presidents.
