The Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Comedy or Musical went to The Kids Are All Right. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen made the presentation at the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards held on Sunday, January 16, 2011.
Hanks and Allen announced the winner of Best Motion Picture Comedy or Musical as being Table 114, in reference to Steve Buscemi thanking them when he accepted his award for Boardwalk Empire.
The whole cast accompanied the producer of The Kids Are All Right, as they went up onstage to accept the award. He had a very long list prepared and quickly went through his list of fellow producers and those who worked on the film.
He thanked the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for the honor. He thanked Focus for distributing the movie. And, finally, he thanked his family back in New York and said this award was for them.
Other nominees in the category of Best Motion Picture Comedy or Musical were Alice in Wonderland, Burlesque, Red, and The Tourist.
