BET Awards 2012: Gunplay Says 50 Cent Was ‘Hiding’, Afraid He’d ‘Break His Neck’

The BET Awards 2012 will air on October 9 but all the ruckus that went on backstage and outside won’t be visible.

Apparently, the incidents between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy and Gunplay and 50 Cent weren’t related at all.

Gunplay has already spoken to a radio show about what happened but it appears he wants to continue talking about it which is why he called up TMZ and talked about it some more.

While speaking with Harvey Levin and crew, Gunplay made some interesting comments.

The Maybach Music rapper said that he’s “always hated” 50 Cent and wanted to ‘kill him”. However, that wasn’t possible because 50 was hiding behind his security as his entourage jumped Gunplay outside the Atlanta Civic Center.

“I had to fight off 5 dudes…a couple of 50 Cent’s people…You’re dealing with people with a lot of money and a lot of egos,” he said, but at the end of the day he wanted it to be known that he “didn’t shoot nobody…didn’t pull no firearm…I just tried to break a twerp’s neck.”

By the sounds of it, Gunplay had it out for 50 Cent at The BET Awards, though it’s not clear if he started the fight or not.

Do you think it was smart of Gunplay to go on TMZ and talk about the incident? Isn’t he just going to anger 50 Cent by talking about him all the time in a demonizing way?
