Big Brother 2012 episode 27 aired on Wednesday, September 12. In the twenty-seventh episode of Big Brother 14, the Week 9 Veto played out, but then the houseguests were greeted with a surprise. As previously reported on Gather, the last episode of the show revealed that Ian was the new Head of Household and that he had nominated Jenn and Shane for eviction.
After the usual recap by CBS to take up some time, the show got to the Week 9 Veto competition. Shane ended up winning the Veto, but he also got a very nice luxury prize that he got to share with another houseguest. He picked Danielle to leave the house with him and they then got to meet the 2012 Women’s U.S. Gymnastics Team. It was a great chance for them to get out of the house and interact with people not in the game.
From there, the show progressed to the Veto ceremony, where Shane used the Veto to take himself off the block. It forced Ian to nominate a replacement, and he went with Danielle. This meant that either Danielle or Jenn would become the next person heading to the jury house. At what was a pretty surprising eviction ceremony for the house, Shane and Dan both voted to evict Jenn. That meant that the final four for this season are Dan, Danielle, Shane, and Ian.
The episode wasn’t over just yet, though, as another Head of Household competition was held to decide which houseguest was guaranteed a spot in the final three. It was Danielle who ended up winning the latest HOH competition, giving her the power to possibly decide who will enter the final three with her. There is now going to be another eviction ceremony on the Thursday episode (September 13), pushing the show towards its season finale next week.
