Birth of a Ghost Town: Pitcher, Oklahoma

Pitcher, Oklahoma was a mining community.  The federal government was offering its residence money to move out.  The town was collapsing from damage beneath caused by mining.  Then,  last year, a tornado ripped through the dying town.  The 100 residents left there knew it was the death knell for their town.  Today, the tiny town of Pitcher, OK is closing, and leaving behind only memories that will haunt one day.  How does a ghost town begin, ask Pitcher, OK.
