Blossom Bay (Wednesday Writing Essentials)

Filed in Gather Writing Essential by on March 19, 2008 0 Comments

Old timers

call it Blossom Bay,

and in the springtime

sit by the water's way;

Sweet  blossoms

perfume the air,

making lovely

that which is usually

passed by without care;

The birds soar

as they sing love's song;

The earth harmonizes,

the winter was long.

Lovers hold hands

on an old bench swing,

sharing an ice cream

as they talk about spring.
