Bobby Brown Writes, Releases New Song Referencing Whitney Houston

Bobby Brown has written and released a new song that references his late ex-wife Whitney Houston. How will daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown feel about hearing her dad sing about her late mom?

According to a report from TMZ, Brown performed the song on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and became quite emotional while singing.

The song, Don’t Let Me Die, features Brown crying out to Whitney Houston to save him. It will début on his upcoming album which goes on sale in June.

“I didn’t realize that every breath I took was from you … You were my air,” Bobby Brown crooned to Whitney Houston.

“I guess I messed up pretty bad … I didn’t know who you were … I didn’t know what we had. Now I’m stuck living in the past … trying to get the pieces back … but I guess now you’re gone,” the lyrics say.

Will Bobby Brown come under any controversy for releasing this song so soon after Whitney Houston’s death? Will either daughter Bobbi Kristina or Whitney’s mom Cissy Houston have anything to say about the song?
