Tina had a copy
Of Dylan Thomas's
Deaths& Entrances in
Her coat pocket to read

When she wasn't busy
In the old shop with its
Moronic customers,
And now and then, she'd take

Out the book, open wide
The covers, as she did
Her legs for her lovers,
And gorged herself on those

Poems within and got
To learn them by heart and
Remembered them all
Long after the lovers

Had gone with their lust and
The book tucked away on
A shelf gathering dust.
