Game 6 takes place tonight between the Boston Celtics and the Atlanta Hawks. Boston currently leads the series 3-2, and are trying to advance in the playoffs with a win tonight.

The Atlanta Hawks had an impressive outing in their game 5 meeting with Boston. They kept the game close throughout the entire game and went up by two with just seconds left in the game. Rondo went to bring the ball up the court in hopes of tying up the game, but he ultimately turned it over sending the series into a game 6.

Boston should be worried because the Hawks have a serious chance of winning the series if they can come out the victors tonight. In their win, Horford scored 19 points and Josh Smith had 16 rebounds. Hordford had a lot of energy coming out of the gate and he certainly kept up his productivity.

He scored the final two baskets for the Hawks and had the game saving defensive play that sent this series into a game 6. They will need more of the same if they want to bring this series to a game 7, which is something the Celtics will try to avoid at all cost.

Boston had the chance to end the series in game 5, but the Rondo turnover certainly didn’t help out their cause. Expect him and the entire Boston team to come out with a vengeance tonight. They will want to set the tempo early on and not let the Hawks have even a slight chance of winning tonight’s game.

In their loss, Rondo had 13 points with 12 assists. He will need to have a better offensive night and need to distribute the ball to Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett if they want to come out the victors tonight.

Tonight’s game should be very entertaining for the fans. Expect a fast paced game with a lot of offense. A lot is on the line in this game 6, which should only add to the intensity from all the players tonight.
