Brat Pack members honor John Hughes at the 2010 Oscars

John Hughes’ 2009 death hit Hollywood hard. Hughes was the director of such iconic movie classics such as The Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink, Home Alone, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, National Lampoon’s Vacation, Weird Science, 16 Candles, Mr. Mom, and Uncle Buck.

Hughes not only gave fans what they wanted but delievered it in a way that struck a cord with the young and old alike. At the 2010 Oscar Awards some of the actors from Hughes’ most memorable movies assembled on stage in honor of their fallen director.

Actors such as Jon Cryer, Anthony Michael Hall, Ally Sheedy, Molly Ringwald, Macaulay Culkin, and Matthew Broderick gathered in memory of John Hughes at the 2010 Oscar Awards.

John Hughes is sure to live on through his movies which will without a doubt continue to be loved by current and future fans alike.
