Breaking Dawn Part 2 star Marisa Quinn dished recently about her co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and how wonderful they were to her when she was new on set.
According to a report from Celebuzz, Quinn plays the role of Hullen—a struggling vampire in the new film. She talked about her days as a newbie on the Twilight set.
“I didn’t know what to expect,” she said. “Before I had a chance to be scared, they made me feel at home. Everybody was just so kind and warm on set.”
Marisa says she learned some incredibly valuable lessons from both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
“You can’t take anything personally,” she added. “I think Rob (Pattinson) and Kristen (Stewart) and even Taylor (Lautner), have done a great job of being who they are and doing the best they can, being awesome people and letting the world say what they want to say.”
The role of Hullen is one of significant vulnerability and Marisa Quinn explains how she brought her character to life.
“One of the reasons she had such a hard time with being a vampire in the first place was because she had such a connection with humanity and her respect for humanity,” she said. “She has that in common with the Cullens.”
Marisa Quinn is no doubt riding high as Breaking Dawn Part 2 is about to premiere. The L.A. premiere and red carpet event takes place today—November 12th—and the nationwide premiere is Friday, November 16th. A long-time Twihard and huge fan of both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, she feels like she’s living a dream come true.
“Having been a fan of the books and the films myself for years before I was even cast, I knew the responsibility that was involved with getting a role in this film, so I prepared. Every vampire has their own qualities that are special about them, so I hope I was able to bring Huilen’s special magic to the screen,” she said.
With Rob and Kristen in her corner during the filming, it’s likely Hullen will soon become a beloved fan favorite, too.
Are you excited about meeting a brand new vampire in this last film? Might she become a character as beloved as Edward or Bella? It would certainly be fun to see a spin off of Twilight (which some say is in the works, while others deny it) featuring a new character like Hullen. Who knows what direction that would take the series in?
Marisa Quinn certainly has an intriguing sense of beauty and style, as well as a very distinct personality. If even a fraction of that translates into her role as Hullen, a new franchise option is definitely in the making.
