There’s more breaking news about Lamar Odom and his apparent battle with crack cocaine. A new report says that Lamar attempted a reconciliation of sorts with his wife, Khloe Kardashian. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been married to the NBA star since 2009 after only one month of dating. The couple are fan favorites for being more down-to-earth than the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner family. Last year, Odom spent three weeks in rehab. However, it seems the couple split over drugs. He was in an accident last week, then three days later busted for suspected DUI. Odom refused any tests that could detect drugs or alcohol which automatically caused a one-year suspension of his driving privileges. Poor Khloe had to find out about it on the news! He didn’t bother to call her which had to hurt her and cause trust issues.

photo khloe_kardashian_lamar_odom.jpgOn Saturday, the couple met to discuss their situation. Always a good idea, but it had to be difficult for her! Lamar supposedly wants to come home and talked to Khloe about his addiction for four hours! It’s reported that Lamar is refusing to go into a rehab facility, so Khloe has put her foot down. Good move, Khloe! She’s decided that he can’t come home until he’s completed a rehab program. Denial is a huge part of addiction, but the fact that his own father has had a serious drug problem makes Lamar more likely to have serious addiction problems. Rehab is really the only option. In the past she’s given in, but this time Khloe stuck to her guns and totally rejected his plans to come home. This couple has a long way to go if there’s any hope for a reconciliation!
