The Bret Michaels situation began last week on Thursday when the former Poison lead singer reported a “massive headache.”  After that, he was rushed to an undisclosed hospital and is currently in the ICU.  Reports have said that Michaels is being treated by doctors in Arizona for a subarachnoid hemorrhage.

Some reports from a Rock of Love co-star and Bret’s father said Bret had woken up and was in good spirits, although there’s conflicting rumors over whether or not he’s stabilized.  Bret Michaels’ official website has seen massive traffic causing it to be jammed to the point it doesn’t load.  Many are concerned over Bret Michaels’ health condition. reported on Saturday that Bret was still under 24 hour care in the ICU and the following message on Bret’s website confirmed:

“There are several incorrect reports on Bret’s condition. Bret remains in critical condition at an undisclosed location. Further tests are being ran and information will be updated in the coming days.”

The latest news is that doctors were still trying to locate the source of the bleeding inside Michaels’ brain/head.  Without knowing this info they can’t proceed with operation or treatment.  Bret Michaels appeared on Celebrity Apprentice 2010 Sunday night and should continue to be on the taped show despite his recent health situation.

Wishing Bret Michaels a speedy recovery and that he regains his health.
