So Bryce Dallas Howard’s father Ron Howard was on Howard Stern today (I don’t actually listen to the show, but it quickly becomes the topic of conversation here at the bordello I work at) about how she was around during the Christian Bale freakout. Is that story even still going? Are people still surprised an actor has an ego and will snap at the slightest provocation?
What with all the chatter about Bryce Dallas Howard and Christian Bale’s freakout, I guess so.
Note: I just realized how many times I used the word "Howard" in the first paragraph. That's a lot o' Howards all in one place. Might even be a record.
But back to Bryce Dallas Howard – or as I referred to her to my coworker (the one with the neat smoking trick) “The creepy blind girl from The Village”. I also mentioned Bryce Dallas Howard was the lady in The Lady in the Water, but he wasn’t one of the eight people who saw the film, so he didn’t know I who I was talking about.
Am I the only one to think Bryce Dallas Howard is one of the luckiest people in the world for NOT inheriting her father’s genetics? I mean, I’m sure he’s a very gifted director and all that, but he ain’t exactly a paragon of masculinity, is he? Not that he’s effeminate or anything; just not attractive. The fact Bryce Dallas Howard gets half her genetic code from his seed, and can still work in Hollywood with such great actors as Christian Bale, means she lucked the heck out.
I mean, it’s not often you get to play Russian roulette with ugly and come out a winner. And I should know. And if you knew my sister, you’d understand why…
