Bubba's Onion Sauce

Bubba's Cajun Onion Sauce

Yield: 1 batch

2 tb Vegetable oil
2 ea Onions cut 1/4" thick
1/4 c  Ketchup
1/2 ts Cinnamon ground
1/2 ts Chili powder
1/2 ts Tabasco sauce
salt to taste
1/2 c  Water

Heat vegetable oil over med-heat.
Add onion slices then saute for about 6-77 mins, until golden & limp.  
Mix in ketchup.
Add the cinnamon, chili powder, Tabasco sauce & salt.
Add water then stir.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat then simmer, uncovered for 8-10 mins
Use this on hot dogs, burgers, fish, turkey, etc.
