Neutrogena has introduced a new product called Pure & Free Baby. It is a sunblock that contains SPF 60 and is made especially for babies and toddlers skin which is 10 times more sensitive to the environment then adults skin.  The sunblock is hypoallergenic, fragrance free, oil free, and paba free. The sunblock has Purescreen which is a blend of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide that are naturally sourced ingredients that contain no chemicals. It provides both UVA and UVB protection. It is also waterproof and sweatproof. The sunblock comes in two forms a 30 oz lotion and .47 oz stick that is good for face and ears. They both can be found in the sunscreen or babycare isle of stores and retail for $9.99 to $11.99.

The one thing that I found particularly appealing besides the fact that it is a natural product is that when you apply the sunscreen it does not have that oily feeling you get on your skin. It seems to soak into the skin. Most times when I apply sunscreen I always feel the need to wipe or wash my hands afterwards. I don’t get that feeling at all with this sunscreen. Although  my family has skin that rarely burns I always apply sunscreen to the kids and many times we are in places where there is no sink available to wash my hands afterwards. So the fact that I don’t need to is very appealing. I really like this product and so far it has been wonderful for my son. He has not got any sunburn while using this product. I do of course reapply it often as I do with any children’s sunscreen. I think I have found a great new product that I will be sticking with.
