Buddy is challenged when he is asked to create a cake for a Bar Mitzvah in Las Vegas. The cake is for a high-profile client who has many detailed requests and requires complete secrecy. The Cake Boss team must also make a Mardi Gras King Cake which is much like a giant cinnamon bun.

Bar Mitzvah Cake

The team is really challenged by a Vega Bar Mitzvah cake. The plan is to make a cake that emulates the Venetian in Las Vegas with a working slot machine. Additionally, there will be a basketball court with both a stadium and real looking players. Even more challenging, this gigantic and elaborate cake must be transported safely to Las Vegas. First, the team struggles with even getting the cake in the truck, then once in Vegas, they find the cake in pristine condition.

Mardi Gras King Cake

Meanwhile, the team finishes work on the Mardi Gras King Cake. This cake is like a big roll and includes a plastic king figurine buried somewhere in the dough. By tradition, the person who gets the figurine will be recognized as king or queen of the day. Buddy delivers the cake to the restaurant where the Mardi Gras celebration is taking place. It includes edible beads and the traditional colors of purple, green and yellow. To finish the night, the Cake Boss team sticks around for beers. Buddy however uses this time to play a trick on Cousin Anthony to pay him back for a previous stunt he played on Buddy.
