Casey Anthony Would Be in Prison Today If…

Casey Anthony would be in prison today had prosecutors not overlooked the bombshell evidence that was released last week. In this Gather News article, the “foolproof suffocation” that Tot Mom researched was already discussed, but it’s news to learn that the prosecution has admitted to their mistake in the trial, calling it a “gaffe.”

It also seems that Anthony can’t spell — or someone who used her family’s computer with her password in Google. The term that was searched was “fool-proof suffication” — a misspelling of “foolproof suffocation.” Google autocorrected the search query for “whomever” Googled the term.

Surely the prosecution is collectively embarrassed after having to admit to this monumental mistake. But this is also a major blow to the criminal justice system in general. Casey Anthony was not convicted of her daughter’s murder, and if she didn’t do it someone in the Anthony household was certainly intending on doing something horrific when they Googled such a term. Caylee Marie Anthony was murdered, but who killed her? Was it her own mother? Did Tot Mom “beat the system?”
